Pioneering Sustainable Solutions
The ACCELi process is a new, innovative approach to direct lithium extraction (DLE). The ACCELi process puts energy into brine through cavitation, creating chemical reactions that target lithium ions, bringing them out of solution, into a powdered product at +97% purity.
Rain City Resources is a publicly-traded company listed on the CSE under symbol RAIN.
About RAIN
Rain City Resources (CSE: RAIN) is a vertically integrated renewable energy technology company focussed on developing the technologies that serve the the world’s growing energy storage needs. The primary focus is lithium production sourced from brines using proprietary Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) processes. RAIN has agreed to acquire a 100% interest in a patented technology, proven in the oil and gas industry which has been adapted to DLE called ACCELi.
Highlights
Commercially-proven hydrodynamic cavitation reactor - 20 million barrels of water treated
85% lithium recovery from a 300-litre brine sample from the Texas Smackover formation
Patent pending on both the design and the Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) process
Strong leadership team with a proven track record in technical and commercial activation
Low CapEx and ACCELi does not require fresh water/has no outside water requirements
Why is DLE so Important?
The electric revolution has created an ever increasing need for lithium based battery storage. Current brine evaporation uses 500,000 gallons of water/ton lithium in countries with water scarcity. DLE solutions can shrink land usage by 95%, boost lithium recovery by ~50% and dramatically reduce water use, in some cases completely.
